Family 360 Podcast
The family is the basic social unit of society and the primary context for child-rearing.
Some family statistics in Canada:
• 70% of mental health problems have their onset during childhood or adolescence.
• 1 in 6 children aged 2-8 years has a mental, behavioural or developmental disorder.
• 54% are living with a single parent
• 38% are living with two parents (including 22% who are living with two parents who are both in their first marriage.)
• 9% are living with remarried parents.
• 7% are living with parents who are cohabiting.
The family360 podcast exists to nurture the growth of vibrant connection and care within families and communities. Mahatma Gandhi said, “If we want to reach peace in the world, we must begin with the children.” Beginning with the children starts with parenting and practices within the family.
Through our conversations with specialists, storytellers, and artists, family360 offers perspectives on all the ways we are family to each other, and how we can collectively foster this connection in the development and durability of the family unit. With 56 episodes under our belt, we are about to enter Season 3 of this podcast.
Through your generous donations to INCARnation, I am able to continue what we both feel is ‘holy work’, strengthening the emotional, cognitive and spiritual ties of the family unit. As Rachel and I often affirm, “Raising good ancestors”

Thank you for your support and investment in the work we do, and your investment in curating connections in community and culture that nourish us in God’s love and grace.
